Public Meetings

Throughout the relicensing process, DESC will hold a variety of public meetings that will provide process updates and summaries of Resource Conservation Group and Technical Working Committee meeting discussions.  Notification of upcoming public meetings will be listed on the website’s homepage and relicensing events page, as well as in local newspapers.

Public Outreach Meetings – November 29, 2018

Public outreach meetings were held on November 29, 2018 at 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm at the Savannah Rapids Pavilion in Columbia County, GA.  The primary purpose of the meetings was to provide interested members of the public with information about the Stevens Creek Project and the relicensing process.  The presentation from the meeting is included below.

Joint Agency Meeting – September 3, 2020

The Stevens Creek Joint Agency Meeting (JAM) and virtual site visit were held on September 3, 2020 at 2:00 pm. A second session was planned for 6:00 pm, however due to lack of interest, this session was ended early. A link to the recording of the JAM and the virtual site visit video are included below.
